This limited release instantly catches your eye due to the fact that it's packaged inside and actual--and very ancient--eight-inch floppy diskette. The A-side, "Sympathen", starts off with scrambling computer voices which then slowly build into loose atmospheric beats while dark ambient pads flow underneath and traces of the 303 bubble up to the surface. The B-side has a kind of retro feel, which includes lots of intentional record pops and scratches, strings and vibraphones, all weaving in and out of chopped up hip-hop breaks. (Urb Magazine 2000)

The album includes the original 7" tracks, edits/remixes, and many unreleased tracks.

Multicast Larkspur, Colorado

Usually downbeat, with interesting themes of summer melodics or western heat-drenched guitar atmospheres. The music is very easy to listen to, even though a lot of their tracks have hints of experimental themes. Multicast are a talented Rural Colorado band and are recommended to anyone who has appreciation for skillful, clever electronic listening.
